    Sophie graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science in 2013 and went on to complete her Masters in Podiatry Practice in 2016. During that time, she worked across both the public and private health sectors before joining Highett Podiatry in 2017.

    Sophie has also undertaken training in taping, dry needling, as well as time spent at the Australian Ballet in workshops focused on the lower limb and pre-pointe.

    Sophie’s keen interest in biomechanics and running was established whist studying Biomedical Science which then led her into the specialised field podiatry.

    Outside of her podiatry work, you won’t see Sophie sitting down much! In her spare time she will be outdoors, camping, skiing, cycling or traveling the world.

    Jeremy has a keen interest in all things Podiatry, particularly the dermatological and biomechanical aspects. Jeremy grew up in the Bayside area, finishing his schooling at Hailebury College.

    Jeremy is fluent in Russian and enjoys spending time with his parents and grandparents. Being an allied health practitioner fluent in a second language, Jeremy is very appreciated in the community where Russian is their first language.

    Jeremy has vast experience and extensive knowledge in fitting running shoes. At Highett Podiatry he is our ‘go to’ when it comes to advice regarding the best shoes for our patients.

    Whilst working in Japan fitting ski boots, Jeremy trained in making custom foot beds needed for such intense activities such as skiing and snowboarding and aiding in the management of associated foot and ankle injuries.

    In his spare time, Jeremy enjoys playing tennis and footy, being a sports trainer for local footy clubs and going on day trips with family & friends.

    Kirsti, established Highett Podiatry in 1997 and has grown her podiatric practice to incorporate many aspects of podiatry.

    Although, running is not personally Kirsti’s thing, a worldwide pandemic, called Covid did strange things. Kirsti decided to get on the treadmill herself and took up running, or should we call it shuffling?

    With many years of experience in gait analysis and injury diagnosis and management, Kirsti loves the challenge of a difficult chronic injury.

    Kirsti has done further training in “dry needling”, manual therapies training, taping and ‘shockwave therapy.”

    When Kirsti isn’t in the clinic, you’ll find her down the beach with her dogs or getting away with her partner Jason in their camper trailer.

    Stephanie’s wealth of experience in clinical podiatric care along with her professional and caring approach is much appreciated by her patients.

    Stephanie has a special interest in sports related foot and ankle injuries. Stephanie, herself has competed at a high level in Netball as both a player and coach in the Victorian Netball League.

    Stephanie is passionate about getting the right injury diagnosis and tailoring a treatment plan to get the quickest and the most effective outcome and has an extensive knowledge in both walking and running gait analysis.

    Stephanie is also a Clinical Supervisor at LaTrobe University, sharing her vast clinical knowledge with the podiatry students.

    When not working, Stephanie is a busy mum of two young daughters.
